Robbie McCrae, CEO of Caracal, has stated that the goal of this exploration is to increase the Company’s JORC-compliant resource base, diversify into different areas and mineralisation types, and define areas which present low-cost, shallow and near-term, open pit mining opportunities. Caracal’s exploration program is focused on expanding its resource base and diversifying into different areas and mineralisation types. The initial trenching work has identified a mineralised zone that extends for 7km and is open at depth, and further RC and diamond drilling programmes are planned for later in the year which will help increase the Company’s JORC-compliant resource base. Additionally, mineralisation is being investigated for potential low-cost, shallow and near-term, open-pit mining opportunities.
